At Simpelhaus, our philosophy has never been about a single, perfect idea — because life itself isn’t perfect.

Over the years, as we’ve worked alongside designers and makers, we’ve learned that simplicity is never truly simple. Every clean line, every thoughtful function, every detail that feels effortless — all come from hours of dedication, creative problem-solving, and quiet passion. What appears minimal often carries the weight of care and intention.

When we first connected with the farms that now supply our ingredients, we were moved by the deep respect each farmer has for the land. They nurture it, protect it, and treat every harvest with patience and gratitude. Their craft — especially the delicate process of extracting natural oils — reflects generations of knowledge and devotion. Every drop we receive carries that same spirit, and we treat it with equal reverence.

The past few years have also reminded us how important it is to pause, reflect, and keep faith — in ourselves, in others, and in the small moments that connect us. Through uncertainty, we’ve seen resilience and kindness rise to the surface. That, too, has shaped our philosophy.
